“We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us is something valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch.” — e.e cummings (via psych-quotes)
I will just set this here for you: whether you know it or it or not, you are valuable, you are worthy.
Because if you forget you end up wandering the countryside in search of something unremembered lost.
Of course, you don’t know what is lost if you’ve never had it. You end up pretending to be something you are not and wounding good people or being vulnerable to the wrong people and being wounded.
Or sabotaging your own life and wounding yourself.
All because you didn’t remember you are valuable and worthy. All because, “We do not believe in ourselves.”
That is until “someone reveals that deep inside us is something valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch.”
And you are.
